Baby Michelson coming this June!
Hi everyone! If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen, but I’m so excited to share the news that we’re expecting a new addition to our little family! Baby Michelson is due this June and we couldn’t be happier.
It is a huge relief to finally share this with everyone! I’ve been keeping the secret for quite a while now. While many mama’s-to-be share the news around 13-ish weeks, right at the end of the first trimester (or even sooner sometimes), I just hit the 25 week mark so I’m already quite pregnant over here.
There are a few reasons that I kept this hidden for so many weeks and I’m going to share those reasons with you in a future post. I shared the news with friends and family much sooner, and also anyone who has seen me already knows because there is no hiding this bump! So when I say I waited to share the news, I’m speaking specifically about sharing via social media. It’s a tricky space and for a few reasons, I waited a while to share the announcement.
I’m glad the news is out in the open because I have so many thoughts and feelings on the past 25 weeks, plus the months leading up to getting pregnant. I have a ton of post ideas covering this time and am looking forward to sharing my journey with you all.
Fear not if this doesn’t interest you, I don’t intend on making this a full pregnancy/mommy blog. Though this blog is largely focused around my experiences so you can definitely expect some of that thrown in, along with my typical fitness, travel and wellness content.
(Ollie might be pretty straight faced here, but I think he is excited too!)
