Introducing a new feature on Shapin’ Up! Every Friday I’ll show you a collection of things that caught my attention the previous week while browsing the interwebs or while out in the real world. Some will be health & fitness related, others less so. Enjoy!

1. I’ve got about 100 too many coasters in my life right now but as an east coaster, I tempted to add these punny ones to my collection. If not for me, they’d make an excellent gift if any friends are moving east, RWD, $32.

2. This Golden Gazpacho with Avocado recipe was calling my name earlier this week. Healthy, low calorie and quick, basically everything I look for when cooking. I added pureed avocado to the soup to make it creamier. After eating it cold for two days I was craving hot soup and this tasted really good heated up as well. Quite the versatile soup.

3. I can just picture this on my nightstand holding my most delicate jewelry (which more often than not ends up tangled in a drawer). First came across this piece on Stripes & Sequins, you can purchase it at Nordstrom, $25

4. Apparently this is the year I’ll be most popular so I better take advantage of it! Saw this article floating around stating that 29 is the age when you’re most popular. As NYMag says, “29-year-olds are totally desired friends. They’re just a little wise, just a little youthful, just a little hip, just a little centered. They’re still free to hang out, but unlikely to be a truly bad influence.” Sounds about right.

5. Went for a mid-week trip to the movies and saw Sex Tape. I have to admit, it was actually way funnier than I expected. Plus I saw a preview for a movie I am super excited about- This is Where I leave You. Loved the book and can’t wait for it to hit the big screen. If you’re a NYer, I recommend you see your next movie at the theaters on West 84th and Broadway. It’s a special treat because you reserve seats ahead of time online (meaning you can get there 30 seconds before the movie starts) and the seats are super comfy, recline and have a foot rest.
