My training motivation has been feeling a little off. Between traveling and the cold weather I have not been in the mood to work extra hard at my workouts, I more so just get through them. Just because I don’t feel like pushing hard at the gym it doesn’t mean I’ve held back from signing up for a lot of races (registered for 5, planning to sign up for the other 2 soon) and this is the summer I want to take my training to a new level and really compete hard in these races (specifically the triathlons). This will be my 5th year racing in triathlons and I’m ready to work my butt off and see how well I can perform.

I’m hoping you all will follow along here as a I train, and perhaps if you’ve got a race coming up we can be in this together!

First race coming on the books is March 30th, the Philly Love Run Half Marathon. I have not been running much so this will be my intro into race season and I’ll go into it knowing it won’t be a personal best and I should enjoy the run.
