Weekly Wins time y’all (hometown edition)!

1. Headed down to MD/DC to celebrate the beautiful bride-to-be Julia (here we are with my lovely shower co-hosts).

2. Among our shower creations was this “date jar” (and a bit of our candy bar is in view) where we had guests write down creative dates for the future married couple to enjoy. Thought this was cute idea for a shower if you are planning one on in the future.

3. There was a lot of delicious food and my contribution were these peanut butter cup s’mores bars. I’ve made em before and I’ll make em again, quite the crowd pleaser!

4. Post-bridal shower I was lucky enough to get some catch up time with my MD bestie Irene. We hit up the Bethesda Equinox for Crosstraining Revolution, a 60-minute total body fitness class (starting to feel sore as we speak) plus lunch and shopping around Bethesda; a perfect Sunday morning if you ask me.

5. Also had some lovely family time in MD with mom, dad and bro (& his girlfriend Sam- check out her blog I’mSoCooked for some seriously fab recipes). My mom and I get a lot done when I make quick visits home. A lot of that includes shopping. Post-Friday morning shopping we also had a delicious meal in Bethesda pictured here- mango, avocado, crab tower- major yum.

6. And then it was back to NYC late Sunday. Made it back just in time for a quick sunset bike ride with MM. Gorgeous, isn’t it?
