Yesterday I competed in my second triathlon, once again tackeling the nasty waters of the Hudson River, a long bike ride along the West Side highway, and a hilly run through Central Park. IT WAS HARD! For various reasons, I felt that this year’s race was much harder than last years. With rainy weather, rocky waters and a delayed race start, maybe my head wasn’t completely in the race, but either way, I did a pretty good job (for me anyways) and am proud of finishing.
