Today I traveled around the city in search of a new bike. Still unsure if I’m going to make the investment. Here is what it’s narrowed down to:
#1. Giant Avail: $800, this is my #1 choice right now. Of course it’s the most expensive.
#2. Specialized Dolce, $700
#3. Fuji Finest 2.0 $650, although possibly cheaper online. Iffy about the blue flowers on this one.
Will think about it this week. Beyond the base price I have to add tax and the cost of adding new pedals so I can use clip-in shoes, making this a $700-$900 investment. The question is, will I get enough use out of it to make it worth it? Let me know your thoughts.
