Spice Up Your Core Routine

Ditch basic crunches and try this routine of six core strengthening moves. I like these moves because they target the core but will tone all over at the same time.

All it requires are two dumbbells, making it a perfect at-home routine. If you are new to these moves, try them without weights and once you get the hang of it, add in your weights (I suggest 8 or 10lb dumbbells).

Routine:

  • Complete each move for one minute without breaks in between the moves
  • Once you’ve completed all six moves, take a one minute break
  • Repeat this routine either one or two more times; two sets will take you a total of 14 minutes and three sets will take you a total of 21 minutes
