This week I received a package from Influenster and Victoria’s Secret with the Incredible Sports Bra to review. I brought it along on my Tuesday evening workout and while I had my doubts, I was pleasantly surprised with the product!
I put the sports bra through a variety of exercises; my evening routine was a 20 minutes running, 5 minutes rowing, 10 minutes of ab work and then I taught a 45-minute cycling class. The Incredible sports bra is a maximum support bra and is sized like a normal bra (as opposed to most sports bras that only come S-M-L). Because you can get your actual size the bra fits incredibly well.
The two doubts I had about this bra: the padding and the underwire. I tend to wear a basic sports bra that’s just super tight but nothing fancy. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a padded bra at the gym but honestly, the padding was subtle and it didn’t bother me. I thought the underwire would dig into my skin but it was so well-cushioned that I didn’t even feel it. The bra is more supportive and stayed in place better than any others I own. It has a really cute design, comes in fun colors and is flattering; it kept me in place without any bouncing or discomfort through my entire routine.
My one sort-of complaint is I could see this bra not being ideal for super long runs. On long runs I sometimes get cuts on my stomach under the sports bra line and I could see this rubbing and causing chaffing if worn for a long run. And by long, I mean 15+ miles for marathon training. For all other activities I will happily wear this sports bra!
It’s a little pricey ($49.50-$59.50) but the quality is good and I could see the product lasting a long time.
They also sent me a pack of socks ($29.50) which isn’t technically part of the review but they are great, super thin and perfect for a cycling class.
My overall recommendation? if you’re in need of a supportive sports bra, this could be the perfect fit for you. Head to Victoria’s Secret and check it out!
