This weekend was spent enjoying good friends, nice weather and checking out some hot spots in the city.
Friday: Lauren arrived and in her honor we celebrated with a rooftop wine and cheese party (oops, forgot to take pictures, who has some they can send me?)
Saturday: Taking care of my dog sitting duties Lauren and I took Sadie for a walk and grabbed some coffee.
Next, we met up with Jill and Amy for brunch at Calle Ocho (free unlimited sangria with your order, delicious), followed by drinks at the Boat Basin. Then Lauren and I biked over the Brookyn Bridge and took in the sights. On the way home we really worked on our street riding (complete with lots of traffic and road paving).
After a quick break it was time to catch back up with Jill and Amy for dinner at Yerba Buena on Perry Street. If you’re looking for a really good and trendy meal, yet completely affordable, this is the place!
Sunday: Bye Bye to Lauren! Taught a spin class then caught up with some friends for brunch at the Breslin in the Ace Hotel, very much recommended! Took a quick spin around Central Park and taught a second spin class and called it a day.
Great (busy) Weekend!
