Weekend Workouts: In the Zone

Sometimes my weekend workouts can be a little iffy.  By weekend, I really only mean Saturday since I teach spin on Friday mornings and twice on Sundays. This weekend, with the beautiful weather I couldn’t help but be outside as long as possible. On Saturday I started off with a morning bike ride (tired legs left me feeling weak during this).  Later I decided to take a short jog along the East River. This “short jobg" turned into my longest run of the summer.  Beginning at 30th and Lexington, I headed east, ran along the river until hitting the South Street Seaport, then ran back uptown, over to Madison Square Park and around my neighborhood. This 90-minute, 10ish mile run felt amazing! Do you ever just hit that zone and feel like you could run forever?
