Last night 3 members of “Team Workout” hit the West Side Highway for a run (and more). We first ran along the water heading south, then ran back north, making a stop at a nice long set of stairs (see below). We went up and down the stairs 2 times, followed by jumping jacks, running in place and dips on nearby bench. Next up was another 2 times up and down the stairs, ending with a run back to our starting point on West 72nd street. My two running partners for the night, fairly new to the running/exercise were amazing! They worked hard and I could see serious improvement from the last time we ran together.

She’s a great example of how you can lose weight and get healthy without crazy gimmicks. Eating right and adding exercise to her routine have helped her to lose 18 pounds in 11 weeks. It’s quite simple, before she eats something she asks herself, is this good for me? Ok, perhaps easier said than done, but she’s great motivation for those of you trying to drop a few lbs. Let’s hope she continues to blog about her awesome progress!
