It’s understandable to want to let your healthy routine slide during the weekend. Perhaps you had a rough work week and just need some time to unwind. However, eating right and exercising Monday-Friday doesn’t mean you should go on a Saturday-Sunday bender. Sure, it’s necessary to take some days off from the gym and everyone needs a cheat day with their eating, but try to keep to a schedule, even during the weekend, to see your healthy habits pay off.

My weekend will be jam-packed with healthiness. Saturday, starting at 9am I’ll be teaching back-to-back 1 hour spin classes (Equinox 74th & Second for those who would like an early morning jolt of energy). On Sunday I’ll be running in the City Parks Foundation Run for the Parks race in Central Park, followed by an evening spin class (Equinox 63rd & Lex) perhaps followed by a short swim. Yes, I’m going a little overboard this weekend, but sometimes it just happens!
