Holiday Flavors Minus the Guilt: Larabar

The winter holiday season is a long one, the pumpkin pie flavors start late October and go right on through New Years. Actually I love pumpkin year round but I digress. There are ways to indulge in delicious holiday flavors without devouring a pie each week. My favorite way is via healthy snacks like Larabar. I love these bars (they helped me survive Whole30 for sure) and I was super excited about their seasonal flavors: pumpkin pie, snickerdoodle and gingerbread.

These three are only around for a limited time so I made them a priority on my shopping list. However, I couldn’t find them anywhere! I looked in all nearby grocery stores and could not track these down. In my desperation I reached out to Larabar and asked if they’d send me a few to try and they did. And yum. I loved all three and wish they’d stick around beyond the holidays (you hear me Larabar??).

Let’s say they do take away the three seasonal flavors, luckily there are a bunch of other flavors that I happily eat on a regular basis:

A bunch of these can give a taste of the holidays too; pecan pie, apple pie, carrot cake. If you haven’t tried Larabars yet, get moving. They are gluten free, soy free, dairy free, non-GMO, vegan and kosher. Each bar is a blend of unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices and each flavor contains no more than nine ingredients.  If you like being able to pronounce all the ingredients in your food, you will like Larabar.
