Week of the Triathlon: Final Workouts

We are now 5 days out from the Sharon Triathlon. I always try to strike that perfect pre-race balance of working out but keeping my muscles fresh and relaxed for race day. Here’s the plan:

  • Sunday: Day Off
  • Monday:Spin class, 2 mile run, 20 mile bike ride
  • Tuesday: 4 mile run, light weight training
  • Wednesday:1 hr Spin class, 30 minute swim
  • Thursday: Spin class
  • Friday: Spin class, light jog
  • Saturday: Day Off (with maybe a short swim)
  • Sunday: RACE!
