Yoga Challenege Prep

On my list of 30 things to do before I turn 30 is complete a yoga challenge. The specific challenge I’ve landed on is the Bikram Yoga NYC 30 Day Challenge. The basic idea- do Bikram Yoga every single day for 30 days. Yikes! I’ve taken less than 30 Bikram classes in my entire life combined…but I think it sounds like a fun and tough experience.

After careful planning, I’ve decided to embark on this adventure mid-January, a time when I can set aside a full 30 days to be in town; no weddings, no vacations, no nothing. All yoga, all the time.

I’ve got a couple of months to go, but I’m preparing my wardrobe for this adventure, slowly stockpiling yoga gear. My latest purchase comes from the oh-so-affordable Old Navy. These tiny shorts are perfect for 105 degree workouts and they only cost $11 so if they get nasty and need to be tossed after the month, that’s aright by me.
