Day in the Life

My days have been pretty hectic recently with the combo of the 30-Day Bikram Yoga Challenge, teaching spin and having a full time job. If you’re curious how my days are spent, here’s a typical day during this challenge. *Please note, I’m not THIS lame all the time, this yoga challenge just happens to be taking over my life and making my social life non-existent.

5:45am: First alarm goes off

5:50am: Second alarm goes off, my signal that it’s time to GET UP and use my very short allotted 10 minutes to get ready and leave the apartment. First I’ve got to turn off the crock-pot chili that’s been cooking all night. While it does smell good, it’s not exactly what I want to smell pre-dawn. I quickly grab my coffee and I’m out the door.

6am: Catch a cab across town to Equinox on the UES.

6:30-7:15am: Teach spin! Full energy is a must, even if it is still dark out.

7:30am: Catch a bus back to the UWS to get ready for work

8am: Coffee #2 and some time to relax on the couch (thanks tumblr for my new laptop case! coffee mug from my Bravo days)

9am: Off to the office for my other/real job

5:30pm: Run out of the office like a madwoman in order to get to 6pm yoga on time

6-7:30pm: Bikram yoga time! This time attending class at the midtown Bikram Yoga NYC studio

8pm: Get home, shower, eat my deeelish chili, organize my kitchen, watch some tv

11pm: Get into bed, read for a few mins, fall asleep

WAKE UP AND DO IT ALL AGAIN!
