This blog will probably lead you to believe that I live a super healthy and fit life and 90% of the time, that is true. But the other 10%, the part that this blog doesn’t focus on, is also very real. Just like everyone else, I go through phases where I don’t feel like eating healthy and while I still make an effort to get to the gym, the workouts out aren’t as intense as they should be, I just sort of float through them.
I’ve let myself slide the last couple of weeks. Whenever I go on vacation I totally let lose and eat and drink whatever I want. So when I was in Vail I held nothing back and haven’t really reset myself since.
This morning I decided it was time to refocus my energies and get back into my healthier lifestyle. I always feel better when I’m eating clean and pushing myself in my workouts. With my triathlon training underway I want to feel my best.
It’s always a good idea to take a few minutes and think, do I need to hit refresh? If you’re not feeling your best, perhaps it’s time to think about why and make some changes.
Plus, it’s spring which means summer is right around the corner! Always helps for a little extra motivation.
