There’s really a holiday for everything these days, huh? Well, grilled cheese was a childhood favorite of mine (with tomato soup- perfect for a gloomy day like today) but these days I’m living a semi-paleo lifestyle, which means no bread or cheese. So uh…celebrating this day may be impossible, but that doesn’t mean YOU can’t celebrate!
There are even some ways to make grilled cheese healthy(ish). Here are a few tips from Blisstree:
- Go Breadless & replace with a veggie for “bread” (or use ½ the amount of bread)
- Use Organic Cheese
- Add Veggies (tomato, avocado, etc)
Another tip- if you order it out they will likely slab a ton of butter on the bread- ask to keep it dry.
