Every year it gets a little more fun to celebrate the holidays with littles. For the first two years I didn’t give too much thought to Hanukkah for Millie. She already had tons of toys and also had no idea what was going on.
This year though, it’s getting fun! She loves lighting the candles and opening her gifts (obviously). I’m not going too crazy with gifts and this year it’s a mix of little things, some that are practical and some that are just for fun. After all, toddlers find it fun to unwrap anything right now, even if it’s a new jacket or toothbrush. If you’re still looking for some gifting inspo, here’s everything I’m giving Millie this year (at age almost 2.5).
Adorable Zebra Puffer: A new winter coat that is oh-so-cute from small business Rockets of Awesome.
The Best Toddler Shoes: This is our first time getting shoes from Ten Little and I’m quickly becoming a huge fan. You can print size guides so you know you’re getting the right size, they come in fun packaging complete with stickers, and they are really cute and look very comfy. Millie chose yellow! But there are plenty of other colors if your child isn’t obsessed with yellow like Millie is 😉
Plant-Based Play Dough: Love this plant-based play dough from The Dough Project and Millie is really loving play dough at the moment.
Kid-Friendly Non-Toxic Nail Polish: Millie is fancy and likes her toenails painted so I definitely wanted to get her a non-toxic polish to use, this set is particularly cute.
Machine Washable Doll: Love that these dolls from Manhattan Toy Co are machine washable! Toddlers are very dirty if you didn’t already know.
Making Faces Magnetic Set: Also from Manhattan Toy Co, I think Millie will have a lot of fun with this game.
Kids Name Bracelets: I have a set of Millie & Ezra name bracelets that I love and Millie constantly tries to steal from me. In an attempt to keep mine in tact, I ordered her a set of her own that say Millie Logan. Obviously one is yellow and the other is pink. I’m excited for these to arrive.
Electric Toothbrush: One of the more practical items on the list, I still think Millie will be excited by this toothbrush.
