Another item was checked off my fall to-do list last weekend, go on a fall foliage hike! Along with our friends Josh & Lianna, MM, Ollie and I headed a bit north of the city for fresh air and gorgeous views.
It’s easy to feel stuck in NYC, but you know what? You can find awesome hiking trails close by; this one was an hour away near Bear Mountain, hike details HERE.

After the hike we all earned our beer. We headed to a hole-in-the-wall restaurant nearby and all four of us ordered the pumpkin beer (can’t say no).
It’s getting colder by the day, I’m not sure another hike will happen this season but I would happily squeeze one in if I have an open weekend and the fall weather sticks around.
