I just came back from an ahhhmazing trip to LA to visit friends. A full recap of the trip will be coming your way soon, but for now I’m going to share a quick story from the airport.
My flight was at 10:11pm last night, meaning I would miss the finale of my beloved Bachelorette. I watched 15 minutes of the finale then it was time to head to the airport. Another friend was flying back to NYC around the same time (but different airline) and we were trying so so hard not to see any spoilers. The hope was to stay away from social media until we landed, rush home, watch the finale somehow very quickly before heading to work (side note: we had seen the spoiler snap chat from weeks ago but still pretended the finale would be a surprise).
So I got to the airport and was waiting to board, minding my own business, not looking at Twitter or Insta or anything else that might spoil the ending. Then I look next to me and who do I see…Kaityln and Shawn! Talk about the spoiler of all spoilers! I’m not one to approach celebs but I could not let this one pass me by. I ran over, told Kaitlyn I was a fan and was so upset to miss the finale then snapped a pic with the happy couple as we boarded our to NYC.
[Obviously they looked adorable as they just filmed a show, I on the other hand was prepped for a red eye flight, looking like garbage. How perfect that most of my face is cut off!]
This was just too amazing. Kaitlyn was super nice and allowed me to momentarily hold up the boarding process to snap this picture. Everyone in line behind me was asking me who those people were…how was I the only one to spot them and know about the show?!
