Oh no, this is the last installment of what I’ve accomplished because tomorrow, I’m 30! Here we go…
16. Go to Atlantic City: Planned a trip with some girlfriends a couple of years back. We stayed on at the now defunct Revel which was really fun! Just a quick getaway from the city with the gals.
17. Take a Yoga Challenge: I spoke a lot about this when I was in the midst of the challenge, I did a 30-day Bikram yoga challenge. Looking back I actually can’t believe I did it. For 30 days, I did 90 minutes of yoga every freaking day, oh and it was 105 degrees. It was a pretty amazing experience because I saw my flexibility change, but as soon as I gave it up, I lost it. I’ve tried to go back to Bikram but I don’t think it’s for me. Those 30 days kicked my butt but I’m proud of myself (and my 2 friends who joined me!) for doing it.
18. Start a business: Shapin’ Up counts, right? I’ve also been doing a bit of health coaching. I’d love to take Shapin’ Up further, we’ll see where the future takes us.
19. Pick Tennis Back Up: Tennis in NYC is an expensive hobby. As much as I’d love to play regularly, that isn’t happening, but MM and i did take some lessons! It was fun and when we aren’t in the city, it’s definitely something I’d love to do more often.
20. Have (more) Defined Abs: Um this is sort of a weird one but I did get more defined abs post-Whole30 and before my Costa Rica trip.
21. Learn to Stand Up Paddle Board: This was far easier than expected. I did SUP in Maine and in Costa Rica. I think the sunset SUP experience in Costa Rica was one of the most beautiful things ever.
22. Go Snowboarding in Utah: Did this about a month ago! Loved Utah and would like to go back since this year was sort of eh for snow (but still so much fun!).
The remaining items will just have to move over to my life list as they likely won’t get accomplished by midnight tonight. Stay tuned for details on what I didn’t accomplish and how I plan to make it happen in the future! In the meantime, I will take today to enjoy my remaining hours as a 20-something…
