Morning Walks to the Gym

I feel like overnight it’s gone from steamy in the city to downright chilly. I’m up before the sun rises on Wednesdays I walk about a mile to and from the gym for my class on the Upper West Side. I’ve been pulling out my cool-weather workout clothes, very much coming in handy when I’m strolling through the neighborhood at 5:45am and it’s 50ish degrees.

I’m wearing the coziest Lululemon fleece (from last season) and Fablectics leggings. Let’s focus in on my shoes because I’m newly obsessed with them. These SpeedForm Studio Lux sneaks were given to me by Under Armour at the I Will What I Want Event and weigh approximately NOTHING. They are super light and I find them perfect for walking around the city and weight-focused workouts. I wouldn’t run in these but they are ideal for throwing in my workout bag if I have a long walk ahead of me or a workout light on cardio.  

Most of the time I’m lugging around an overflowing and heavy workout bag so having these lightweight shoes makes a huge difference.

After my workout I had an eh breakfast. It had all the makings of a perfect morning meal but today I just wasn’t feelin’ it.

Great morning sweat and a healthy breakfast, not a terrible way to start a Wednesday!
