If you sometimes feel like you’re in a slump (and let’s be honest, who hasn’t felt like that) or you look around and see what your peers are accomplishing and feel behind the curve, this list might make you feel just a bit better.
From Mind Body Green: 25 Signs You’re Succeeding At Life, is a list I love; maybe you can’t check off every item, but it’s likely that there are more positive things happening in your life than you’re taking credit for. If you need a pick-me-up, read this list and you’ll probably finish thinking “oh hey, I actually am doing pretty well at life!”
A few of my favorites:
- You may not have as much money as you want but you live a rich life
- You don’t complain much but instead focus on solutions
- You’ve learned that setbacks and failure are a part of self-growth
- You have things to look forward to
- You have moments where you appreciate who you see in the mirror (I like that it says “moments”, it’s okay if it’s not all the time)
- You have passions that you pursue (below is an example for me, doing something I love!)
