Friday was a rainy mess but luckily it made way for a perfect weekend. Saturday I ran the Brooklyn Half Marathon (race recap coming soon) and on Sunday MM and I hosted a little backyard BBQ. And this delicious drink that I made up!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 fresh peach
- 1 bottle of champagne (or sparkling wine)
- ½ cup peach seltzer water
- 1/3 bottle of Skinnygirl Sparklers Tangerine Mango
- 1/3 cup Goldschlager
- 2 packets of Splenda (optional)
What to do:
- Place the frozen peaches and chopped up fresh peach in a large pitcher or mason jar and add the Goldschlager. Let that sit for 1 hour.
- After an hour, add in the rest of the ingredients. You can probably leave out the Splenda but if you prefer a sweeter drink, mix it in.
This is a perfect summertime cocktail. Easy to make and relatively low in calories. I think this will be a staple for our backyard BBQs!
