Let me introduce you to my new bike, the Schwinn Gateway:
Isn’t it so cute?? So cute that I want to give it a name, got any ideas?
I’d love to say we’ve been riding all over town, taking in the sights and what not, but the weather has not been agreeable, so sadly I’ve only taken one ride (many more to come!). I rode up the West Side Highway and through a few city streets and was amazed at how comfortable the ride was. I’ve been riding a road bike for the last five years and forgot how lovely riding on a hybrid can be! The upright position, big saddle and high handle bars made for an easy ride. Also the gears are super simple (as opposed to my road bike, which five years later I’m still trying to figure out how to properly use).
