Tri Training: Run + Interval Workout

The NYC Triathlon is my favorite race and I somehow convinced two of my coworkers to sign up with me. Tonight (pending weather) the three of us are heading out for a run with some interval work tossed in.

For NYC readers, we’ll be doing this at the stairs and hill along the west side highway running path at 68th street. This is an ideal place to do interval work, there are stairs and a nice sized, steep hill next to each other with room at the bottom for lunges and squats, plus a bench for the dips.
