I’ve been competing in races for the past 7 years and have rounded up a mini collection of medals and bibs and up until now they’ve hung on my bed post but I’d like to get a little more creative. I struggle with putting them on display (is it too braggy?) so I’ve been looking up ways to show them off without being too in your face about it. Here’s what I’ve found:
Starting on the top left, I love the idea of hanging the medals by your bike or in your at-home gym (easily on a curtain rod) to keep you motivated. Going down the row, these displays are all over Etsy as is the bib coaster below (while cute, most of my bibs end up gross and in the trash but perhaps I could do this with my marathon bib). The next two options are fun- magnets and Christmas ornamets, then the last row are more good ideas if you keep your bibs.
What I’ll probably end up doing is something like this necklace hanger (DIY by Like a Saturday), I love the look of the wood and the unique knobs and will hang it either by my bike or in my room, enough for me to see and be proud of without feeling like a show off.
