California Trip Part Three!

It’s about time I give you part 3 of my CA recap, the reason I was out there in the first place: the beautiful wedding of Josh & Julia! Julia has been one of my best friends since freshman year of college and we have a ton of memories together, including our senior year as roommates. Julia met her now husband studying abroad and they are just one of those perfect couples, they really compliment each other and make a great team.

The wedding took place the Luxe on Sunset which I thought would be your standard LA hotel. Not at all. The hotel is tucked away from the city so even though it’s super close to downtown, you feel like you are out in the country. The ceremony took place outside and the combination of lights, stunning flowers and the most perfect weather you could ever ask for made for a dream setting. Julia was a stunning bride and Josh and handsome groom; and you could feel their happiness that day; the couple radiated joy.

I’ve been to many weddings over the past couple of years but this one blew me away with the couples self-written vows. I don’t know how they held it together up there but their vows to each other had me in tears. It was so sweet and touching and as somehow who knows the couple very well, all true. Everything about the wedding was warm, celebratory and beautiful. It was also FUN. Josh and Julia are the couple that introduced mm and me so we had so many friends to party with.

The wedding of Josh and Julia was truly a special event and I’m so honored to have been a part of it. Cheers to the happy couple!
