This weekend’s marathon training run was 15 miles from Central Park, over to Randall’s Island and back. Unlike many of my solo runs, this one was spent with my friend Brittany who is also training for the marathon. I can’t even begin to tell you how much better it was to run with a friend. We chatted the whole way and explored a new area (without a huge fear of getting lost alone). Randall’s Island is a great place to run. We only stayed on the island for about 2 miles but you can definitely get more mileage out there if you want.
Only THREE more long runs until race day! Can’t come soon enough…
