I’m putting together my own marathon training schedule. Here is the work in progress- what do all you seasoned marathoners think of this? I know I shouldn’t have 3 days of cross-training (spin) but those are when I teach so chances are, they will stay on my schedule through marathon training. And I know it should be more like 18 weeks+ but I only have 16 weeks once my triathlon wraps up in July.
All of that aside, thoughts on the weekly mileage/build up to the race?
Would love to hear your feedback: What’s good? What should I change? Should I run more than 20 miles as my longest run?
