30 Day Bikram Yoga Challenge: Day 21

Can you believe it’s already Day 21 of the 30 day challenge? Well, I can’t. Surprisingly it is going by pretty fast and I’m really enjoying it. I still have classes that are tough and leave me questioning if I’m improving along the way, but for the most part I can say that day by day, the yoga gets a bit easier and the heat gets a bit more tolerable.

Both Alison and Sara, my partners is (yoga) crime during the first 21 days did a double class, taking one class in the morning and then another one in the evening. Feeling a bit jealous, I decided to take this on yesterday since I didn’t have any plans and I wanted to see what it was like. It was AMAZING. I took my first class at 11am and it was fine, felt like any other class. Then after a relaxing day, I took my second class at 5pm (taught by one of my favorite instructors Emily Faurholt) and I think it may have been my best class yet. Even though I was sweating like crazy, the heat didn’t bother me and I was my most balanced and flexible self. Typically I feel a little tight during morning classes, but this second class was really awesome.

And on that note, lets see how the next 9 days go!
