Do you ever head out for a run and instantly regret what you’re wearing? Maybe you’ve got on a long sleeve shirt leading to immediate overhearing, or you’re shivering from weary a tank when the sun is no where in sight. Well, get on over to this feature on Runner’s World that will have you covered!
It’s pretty cool- enter the temperature, wind level, conditions and how you like to feel while running (cool, in-between, warm) and the app will supply you with what you should be wearing. Let’s take right now for example (even though I’m at work and certainly not able to go for a run, even if I wanted to):
- Temp:52 degrees
- Wind: Windy (10-20MPH winds)
- Conditions: Sunny
- When I run, I like to feel: In-between
What I should wear:
- Hat with visor
- Short-sleeve shirt, or for women as little as a jog-bra
- Shorts
- Vest for wind-resistant
- Sunglasses
Ok I was totally on board until they said it was acceptable for me to run in a jog-bra today. First of all, who calls it a jog-bra, and second of all, it’s November. No thanks (and let’s be real, even if it wasn’t November I still wouldn’t do this).
