Sorry for my absence over the past few days. I actually don’t have a good excuse because the hurricane was very mild on the Upper West Side. While downtown NYC was flooding and still doesn’t have power, somehow just a few blocks north we are doing ok. The wind was insane and tree branches were flying around, but otherwise things are fine. It’s hard to believe how bad it is in other areas since it was so mild up here. My thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this crazy storm.
I’m still on the UWS since transportation is either not working or very overcrowded. My office is about an hour walk from my apartment so instead of trekking into what’s likely an empty office, I’ll be working from my couch.
