Last night I finally checked out The Meatball Shop. I’ve tried before but even though it’s been open for a while, the wait is still crazy long. Last night it was over an hour wait but outdoor seating was available immediately since it’s sorta cold (but not THAT cold). My dinner date hails from LA (hi twinny!) and I was unsure she could sit outside in 50 degree weather, but for a good (and immediate) meal, we were willing. And it was worth it! The food was delicious and I’d go back/recommend it. Everything tasted very fresh and it was perfectly filling. I left feeling satisfied but not stuffed.
What we had:
- Vegetable Meatballs with Tomato Sauce
- 3 Meatball Sliders (Chicken, Veg, Beef)
- Fresh-Milled Polenta
- Market Salad (romaine w/ sweet dumpling squash, sunflower seeds, chevre & watercress)
