Last week I mentioned that I tried Organic Avenue pressed juice for the first time. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed considering I spent $20 on a juice and a soup.
The Green Love Juice was big so I understand the price tag ($10), but it was a bit bland. Compared to another green juice I’ve had many times, the Blueprint Green Juice, it lacks flavor. While both juices have similar ingredients, there is something more flavorful about Blueprint’s version.
As for the Spicy Avocado Soup, it was OK, but too heavy on the cilantro; it overpowered every other flavor in the soup. I think I may have enjoyed this soup more had I eaten it with a spoon and not straight from the bottle. Organic Avenue likens this soup to guacamole, which I love, but the thought of drinking a bottle of guac is less than appealing.
Will I go back to Organic Avenue? Probably not. And my wallet will thank me for that.
