If you can’t tell by now, I LOVE the Olympics. I’m so jealous of the athletes, it looks like the greatest experience to be in Olympic village and part of team USA. So, what could I compete in? Most likely nothing. But a girl can dream, can’t she? I just came across an article 10 Must-Know Facts to Fuel Your Olympic Triathlon Fever and you know what? Laura Bennett who will be racing for the US is 37 years old. She is a full 10 years older than me, surely I can knock of 54 minutes from my best triathlon time within the next 10 years…right??
Oh, and here’s another interesting article about 2 American athletes who moved to Israel to make the Olympic team. Jillian Schwartz is a pole vaulter. I used to pole vault in high school but I’m pretty sure my jump of 8’6 won’t set me up to be on any Olympic team in the entire universe.
