I was lucky enough to escape NYC for the last 7 days and spent my time relaxing at a lake house up in the mountains of New Hampshire. While a work-free, stress-free week was just what I needed, my workouts maybe took a back seat. Over the week I managed to do the Physique 57 workout DVD twice (review coming soon), snowboard for a day, and went on a chilly run up the mountain.
A 20-degree, snowy day was the perfect chance to test out my new Lululemon gear. I was outfitted in warm tights, a long sleeve shirt (this is similar), and headband to keep my ears warm. Since it was colder than most of the runs I go on, I also wore a fleece neck warmer and a thin jacket. Even though I’m usually a wimp when it comes to winter runs, this wasn’t so bad! After a couple of minutes I was warmed up and feeling good. This exact outfit also served as my base layer for my day of snowboarding. It’s all thin enough to fit under my ski coat and snow pants. Gotta say, I love my Lulu gear and will wear it any chance that I get!
