To Drink: Michelada’s (mix soy sauce, hot sauce, salt, pepper, beer, lemon juice)

For Dessert: Berry Cobbler (recipe below)

Filling: Combine fruit of your choice (I used strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, white peaches & kiwi) with 1-2 tablespoons of sugar (or splenda) and the juice from 1 lemon. Let this sit for 30 minutes

Topping: Combine ¾ cup of flour, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon sugar. Next take 2 tablespoons of cold butter, cut into small pieces and using your fingers, mix it into the flour mixture until combined well. Next take ½ cup of well shaken buttermilk and add to the mixture, mixing gently with a fork (do not overmix).

Take small drops of the topping and place all over the fruit mixture (which should now be in a pie dish) leaving space for it to expand. If you wish, sprinkle more sugar on top (NOT necessary) and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
