If you haven’t checked out “Summer Streets” in New York yet, you have one more Saturday to hit the road! The city shuts down a long stretch of Park Ave, connecting Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park (7 mile stretch) during three consecutive Saturdays from 7am-1pm allowing bikers, runners and walkers enjoy traffic free streets for a few hours. This past Saturday I checked it out by bike, which was a little high in people traffic. It’s a fun idea but a little crowded. This summer there are also swimming pools set up by Grand Central which looked awesome (although a long line and not-so-hot weather deterred me).
