Friday Five

1. This braid from Brooklyn Blonde looks complicated (like something I could probably do to someone else but not myself) but the step-by-step guide makes it look quite easy, going to try this very soon!

2. This chocolate chili (sounds weird but also delicious) from The Clothes Make the Girl is next on my cooking list for Whole30. Thanks Hailey of GradSchoolHealth for the tip!  

3. And for when I’m too lazy to cook, this list of Fall’s 10 most exciting healthy restaurant openings in NYC will come in handy. A lot of good looking places on the list.

4. And after I overeat, here’s a workout! I haven’t really done the Tone It Up routines but this Insane Cardio one looks really good. It doesn’t involve any equipment but sounds like it will get you sweating real quick. I’m hoping to do it this weekend, I’ll do the run section outside then either head to the gym or my yard for the moves.

5. So after you eat and then workout, it’s time to buy a new bikini! Ok, I know summer is over but Victoria’s Secret really stepped up their swimwear this year and it’s now on sale. I bought this getaway halter in neon pink; it’s super flattering and supportive (they size their suits like bras so you’re more likely to find a match). You know what this will be perfect for? My surf and yoga retreat this December! The trip is booked and I cannot wait! More on that later 🙂
