I’m pretty sure we all have a love-hate relationship with Instagram. Sometimes a scroll through can give you serious FOMO. It makes you feel like everyone is doing way better in life than you are. But other times you scroll through and get inspired. Maybe you learn something new, or feel better about whatever your situation is thanks to your insta-friends keeping it real.
If you need more of those positive vibes in your feed, I feel you. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite fitness/wellness accounts. I follow a lot of folks on Insta and it was hard to narrow it down. Note that these aren’t all of my faves, but some of my top people that you should check out. They keep it real, give me new workout and wellness ideas and are worth a follow. 10 Wellness Instagram Accounts You Should Follow
@katelemere: This new mama & Barry’s Bootcamp instructor is the realest of the real with her fitness advice. Check her stories for educated info on macro counting, workouts, pre and post-natal tips and more. There’s no BS in whatever she serves up.
@madeline_moves: Madeline shares tone of workout moves and even though I’m a trainer, I get so many new ideas from her. I’m currently doing her Move Sweat Shred program and it’s so good. Watching her stories makes me want to push harder and helps me perfect my form.
@michellefitvista: Health coach Michelle recently released her first book, Self-Care in the City. Via Instagram Michelle shares tips on how to live a balanced life. She knows what it’s like to struggle with wellness in NYC and shares all that she’s learned along the way from finance gal to fitness pro.
@teddiginsberg: Another new mama, Teddi shares her workout experiences without sugar coating her goals and how she’s hitting them. She’s a personal trainer and health coach so you she’s got info you can trust.
@sweatandreapeatla: If you’re living in LA and want to know about all the best workouts you must follow Rachael. Whenever I visit LA I look to her page to figure out my next workout. We met for a workout during one of my trips so I can vouch for her being just as sweet in real life as she appears on insta.
@therunnerbeans: Follow Charlie for all the running inspo you could possibly need. She runs races all over the world and shares her successes, failures and challenges. Charlie and I met for a run when I lived in SF and I wish I could be her running buddy IRL on the regular.
@kaylakleinman: Kayla is one of my NYC blogger buds who isn’t afraid to be herself. She embraces her awkwardness (her words, not mine!) which I think we don’t see enough of on Insta.
@healthyhappier: Ok, one more new mama to add to the mix! Ashley’s a Brooklyn-based blogger that does a great job of sharing how motherhood has changed her approach to wellness and self-love.
@milesfitter: Zoe shares her fitness adventures all over NYC. You can see her running tons of Central Park races and working out in preparation for her wedding (which actually was just this weekend!). I think a lot of people are scared to write about weight loss as it relates to wedding prep but I like that she’s upfront about the process. She’s real about how she’s getting to her goal in a healthy way.
@sabrinafitnessandnutrition: Sabrina’s account is full of delicious healthy meals and if you want a dose of fitness, check out her stories. The best are the ones are when her cute daughter climbs all over her while she tries to get through an at-home routine.
