Today I’m planning to do a long run (15 miles) after work and while I thought temps were cooling down, clearly I was wrong.
Feels like 103? AHHH! Training in crazy temps like that make sense when prepping for a summer race. While training for my tri, a hot day could never be my excuse for skipping practice because there was no telling how hot it might be on race day. With the NYC Marathon taking place in November, it just seems like unnecessary torture to run in this type of weather.
Oh well, doing it anyways! Currently downing tons of water to prep. Wish me luck!
