Welcome 2013! Resolutions List

Alright, I’ve taken some time to think it over and I’ve come up with my 2013 resolutions list. I also have my 30 Under 30 List so I’ve got a lot of things to do!

Here we go….

  • Weight Goal: Reach the one I’ve set (vague, right?)
  • Save a certain amount of $$: I have a defined amount I’d like to have in my savings by the end of this year.
  • Eat Cleaner & Fresher: More veggies, more home-cookin, more fruit, you know the drill.
  • Cook More, aim for 50 new recipes & document it: I tend to find a quick & easy recipe and then make it all the time until I hate it. This year I’d like to try some new recipes and will make sure to document it on the blog.
  • Read More- 10 books: A small goal, but a goal nonetheless. I love reading but barely make time for it.
  • Watch less TV, especially before bed: Hopefully I will be able to watch less crappy TV and in place of that, accomplish resolution/goal #5.
  • Get more sleep: Always a struggle for me since I wake up at 5:45am on most mornings. I’d love to get into a routine that would allow for at least 7 hours of sleep a night.
  • Yoga 1x per week: Last year I aimed to do yoga 2x per month and failed, this one is a challenge, but that’s what I’m going for.
  • Train for the triathlon: I’m signed up for my 4th NYC Triathlon. I’d love to set a new PR this year.
  • Train for the marathon: I’m also planning to run the NYC Marathon, my first marathon ever! Looking forward to (and simultaneously fearing) the training and the race.
  • Be more focused & present at work: Just in general, be more on top of stuff. Think about my career goals and make moves to reach ‘em.
  • Do some art projects: I used to be crafty, not so much anymore. Let’s get some DIY going.
  • De-clutter: Wouldn’t mind making my apartment a bit neater and clutter-free.
  • Stay in touch better: My friends are all over the place and while I think about them a lot, I’m not so good at emailing, calling & visiting. I’d love to do a better job keeping up with close ones, near & far.
  • Blog more!
